Buffalo!

Our first lions.

Baboons scouting the campsite in the morning, I just got up to go to the loo and there they were around me!

A small group of zebra.

A bull elephant. Bulls are solitary, this guy was just hanging out.

A solitary male lion hiding from the sun, we were all of 2 metres away in this great truck and he didn't flinch.

Some more active hippopotami.

This was the most I saw of a hippo.

A solitary Maasai giraffe, probably about four or five metres tall.

Afternoon lions, the hump was about as high as the van and we ended up at eye level with this female.

Zebra and Topi.

A mare elephant that we got very close to, she was a good 2.5 metres tall. She was awesome.
